Are you familiar with the Porte 33 Project?
Justice Pro Bono is a non-profit organization that provides consultations to individuals and NPOs who do not have the financial resources to access legal services. As part of their mission, Justice Pro Bono has developed the Porte 33 project, which consists of offering parents free meetings with a volunteer lawyer or notary and a counsellor from a family-community organization.
Psychosocial counsellors from Première Ressource participate in these meetings, organized by Justice Pro Bono.
For parents, this gives them the opportunity to obtain advice from a lawyer or notary and also from a psychosocial worker at the same time.
Congratulations to Justice Pro Bono for this initiative, which was financially supported by the Fonds d'études notariales of the Chambre des notaires du Québec.
