We are proud to present our new video and audio clips on the theme of cyberbullying prevention. These short clips explain to parents what cyberbullying is, how to prevent it and what to do if it happens.
The video and audio clips will be broadcast on our website starting in February and will be available free of charge on community and independent radio stations across Quebec.
These audio and video clips were made possible thanks to the support of the Ministère de la Famille as part of the Ensemble contre l'intimidation program. In addition, this financial support allowed us to develop a workshop on digital education for parents.
In a survey(1) that we conducted among our partners (community organizations, school boards, schools, unions, etc.) and our clients through our social networks, 78% of participants responded that they felt ill-equipped to deal with cyberbullying. In fact, in general, the resources available for digital parenting often have several limitations. They do not take into account the age of youth, the realities of families (nuclear, single-parent, blended), or the rapid evolution of technology.
